This was an interesting book. After reading it, I have decided that I am not an empath. However, there is much helpful information here for anyone that gets affected by the negative energy of others, myself included at times. The author defines what an empath is, discusses the positives and drawbacks, and gives suggestions for maintaining a positive energy within yourself without letting it be sucked out by others. Some excellent suggestions were beach therapy, forest therapy, and the wearing of appropriate stones or crystals. It seems common sense, but there is actually a right way to take in the forest. I was thankful for her clarification. She explains many different crystals and the types of energy they attract or the way they cleanse us of negative energy; I found this particularly helpful. One thing that would improve this book is to know where the author obtained all of this useful information. I would be interested in knowing that.
I’d never considered myself an empath until I started reading about all of the particular traits inherent to them. Only now do I realize this is who I am. I was particularly fond of the section outlining the scents and stones associated with different healing properties for areas in which I’m feeling worn or drained. This also clarified why I’ve always had such a fascination with both the ocean and the smell of peppermint. It’s funny how the body naturally knows what it needs to stay healthy, it’s just up to us to heed that advice. This book is a great resource for discovering what might be draining our minds and bodies, and how to fix those issues so we can feel positive energy and happiness flowing through us once again.
One thing the book has made me realise is that I’m not an empath, but I am sensitive to other people’s emotions and how draining that can be. I really enjoyed this book, a lot more than I ever thought. The book teaches you how to pin point people or negative thinking in your life and how to fix it, and I think we could all be in need of that the way the world is today!Interesting and informative book.
I am not an empath - and I know this from reading this book (the first half of the book). This might be helpful to people who have trouble coping at times but don't know why. Even thought I'm not an empath, the book it still gave me some very good, concrete ways to be mindful and a long list and explanation of ways to rejuvenate my energy. Something everyone can use.
Well, as much as I would like to say that I am an “Empath,†I am not. The first chapter on “How To Tell If You Are An Empath Empaths†and it’s “Checklist Of Common Traits†helped me to come to that understanding very quickly. The section outlining the various types Of energy healing was also very enlightening as well. And finally, the sections on finding you energy leaks and action-planning we very helpful in enabling me to put the content in the book to work in my own life. A very different kind of read from what I normally engage, but one that was very useful nonetheless.
What a wonderful little book! Small in size BIG in content! It has the answers O was looking for-- nothing less, nothing more. Get it! It may help you change your life for the better! Thank you!
This is an interesting and informative book.. It's also very helpful for anyone who is close to a highly empathetic person. It has lots of useful info about the types of empaths.I would recommended this book to the general population.
I enjoyed reading this book. It was interesting, informative and well written. While I don't really believe in a lot of what it contains, I learned several things, which is all that matters.
