Being new to hospice (RN) i wanted to have resources that would be helpful, i found this book to be VERY useful and help me understand more about hospice and end of life care
Well thought out; definitely directed toward the care providers but it provide good insight as to all those involved and those who want to be engaged in human life as it nears it's end.
These are wonderful little books for hospice nurses - bought enough to give to each of our nurses in the hospice agency
Exactly what it advertises to be, and it does it very well. Quick to reference, comprehensive, and a valuable tool in a provider's locker.
This book is full of excellent content. However, I left it in my car, and when I took it out to use as a reference, the pages fell out! I am very disappointed, as this book could have been extremely useful. I can't even get a replacement due to company policy!
Three stars for the small print that I almost can't read without extra light and I have my glasses on. I would be willing to pay more for a book that I didn't need a magnifying glass to read. However, there is a lot of good information in it.
