This review is for both the product and the misleading description of the product. All in all the product itself is very nice. Very nicely made and looks like it will stand up to some pretty tough use, five stars for the product. However, I like another reviewer purchased this for the large print Archaeological study Bible. The dimensions listed under the product description are of the products overall dimensions and not what size Bible it will hold. Upon receiving the Bible the dimensions given on the tag are for the size of Bibles it will hold, they are as follows: 6 & 7/8" X 9 & 5/8" or (244 X 175mm). Also on the tag is a list of the Zondervan Bibles that will fit and yes the large print Archaeological study Bible is NOT listed as one that will fit. Fortunately, I have a KJV study Bible that needed a good home. I guess the large print Archaeological study Bible will be out of luck. Although, the Bible is actually to large to be carrying around any where, anyway. Well hopefully by posting the actual inside dimensions this will help others in making the right decision about whether or not to purchase this Bible cover.
So awesome!!! I love it!! Fits my Bible highlighters in the pockets and I can fit in a notebook inside as well, perfect!! Oh and I fit in my own KJV bible, not the archaeology bible.
the green in the photo is a little light, but it is the true darker khaki which looks great and matches wonderfully to the archeological bible!i think it advertised that it had a shoulder strap...mine didnt come with that,not sure it was truely supposed to. It's not really neaded.Pockets are a little small for my taste but my wife loves it, it's her bible anyway!Built to last! and well crafted.Great Buy! Probably my favorite of all our covers...it has personality.
I ordered this Bible cover to fit my ESV Study Bible (Bible is Large size with hardcover). It fits perfectly. I love the quality. It is very sturdy and it is a beautiful green-type color with a leather-look trim. It is just a stunning cover. I have had a lot of difficulty finding a cover large enough which would accommodate a Bible with a wide spine. I could only find one and it was just plain black and was in no way sturdy like this cover. This cover is very stylish. I am a woman but this cover could be used by a man also.I highly recommend this cover to fit the ESV Study Bible.
Can't use this bible cover because I have the large print archaeological bible--this is for the regular print. Need to let consumer know.... I am using product for my regular Bible.

I was in need of a new Bible cover and was pretty excited about the look of this one. HOWEVER. No where in the product description does it state that this Bible cover is XL...I was so frustrated and disappointed at how huge it was, and the pockets on the front are also bulky. Definitely NOT worth $25.
I'm sure i would be pleased with this item, if only it fit. It seems as though this product was made prior to the advent of the LARGE PRINT EDITION. I tried to fit this product to the book' however it's not just a little snug, it is simplely not made for this application, and no amout of persiverence will change the potential differences in size. I hope this helps save a bit of time, as im sure amazon will make right on the oversight, im sure its something we would all much rather avoid. Sincerely, Christopher Stephens
